People's Trust for Endangered Species and
British Hedgehog Preservation Society have joined forces to carry out a three year project to conserve hedgehogs. They are researching how hedgehogs move about the countryside and what features of farmland they like best. They are funding work on a new method of detecting hedgehog presence to allow volunteers to help monitor them across the UK. Find out more about
Hedgehog Street, the public participation part of the project. Or why not build your own
Hedgehog house.
