You may already be aware that the roadworks at Seven Bends which were due to close the A372 for twelve weeks have now been extended, with an anticipated finish date of August 9th. As yet there are no details from SCC for the reasons for the extended work. A press release is awaited.
As the closure puts a great deal of pressure on Aller Drove, used by local residents and others to bypass the closure, please drive along that stretch of single track road with due consideration to other road users and residents.
