The Environment Agency are offering FREE flood warden training courses. Sign up today!
The
training will be delivered by the Environment Agency and the Devon &
Somerset Fire & Rescue Service at Rivers House, Bridgwater, TA6
4YS. You can either split up your training over two sessions
on 23 February and 1 March (6pm to 9pm) or do it in one day on
Saturday 5 March (10am to 3.30pm).

Communities
are better prepared to cope during and after an emergency when everyone
works together. The Cornwall Community Flood Forum has developed a
Community Resilience Toolkit which they
have kindly allowed EA to offer to wardens and volunteers in Somerset.
This toolkit
supports
communities to prepare for, respond to and recover from flood events.
The purpose of this guidance series is to help you to act safely whilst
providing the best level of support to your community
during an emergency.
