Aller's Big Breakfast

St. Andrews raised more than £500 on Sunday at a community big breakfast in Aller Village Hall. A happy team of helpers manned the frying pans and served more than 60 big and delicious cooked breakfasts. The money raised will go towards the roof repair fund for St.Andrews Church. You are probably aware that the church is raising money towards repair of a weaken roof identified in a 2014 report on the state of the church building, full details can be found HERE. With calls from many people who came to the breakfast to make it a regular event it was lovely to see so many villagers getting to know their neighbours.

St Andrews PCC have done a few money raising events in the village over the past few months and the whole parish have supported us with amazing generosity. Carol Singing around the village raised over £300, Tea and Crumpets held at the Old Rectory thanks to Ros and Peter over £350 was raised, with £505 raised on Sunday and personal donations totalling almost £2400 we could not have asked for a better response to this cause.

A huge thank you to everyone that attended, donated and helped.
