British Solar Renewables are a local solar development company, based in
Butleigh, and have developed a number of solar farms within the County.
They are currently carrying out assessments at Aller Court to
determine whether or not this would be a suitable location for a solar
farm. This includes aquatic invertebrate surveys which requires them to
erect a small number of solar panels within the site.
They want to
inform you that these are only surveys and an application for a solar
farm has not yet been submitted or permission granted without your
knowledge.
Once these surveys and other technical assessments have
been concluded and if this is a suitable site for a solar farm, they
would consult direct with the Parish Council and the local community, to
gauge local opinions and provide information on such a proposal. If
the programme remains on track, this is likely to be in June/July this
year.
