Monks Leaze Clyse opening today

The Environment Agency have decided, in view of the faster than expected decrease in water levels around Aller, to bring forward the opening of the sluice at Monks Leaze Clyse. It will be opened gradually, from today with close monitoring of water levels downstream. This means the pumps at Seven Bends will operate as necessary to deal with the increased flow.
