Butterfly-watchers in Aller say it's been a poor year. That certainly seems to be true in my garden. I did find this Common Blue taking a nap on a blade of grass Saturday evening. Show us your butterflies, Aller?

I agree there is a shortage of butterflies at present. No doubt we will see some cabbage whites soon though!
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we have a 'Nature Notes' page in this blog? Volunteer page managers are always welcome! There is a lot of wildlife interest in the village, with the Cranes etc. Any ardent twitchers or naturalists out there?
