There are a lot of scam phone calls around at the moment, and a lot of scam or phishing emails. Please beware to protect your personal information.
An example from the Wincanton area:A man of Asian origin has been calling local people claiming to be from the council. He asks about an accident and then
asks for personal details. Please be advised DO NOT give any personnal details over the phone and if you receive a call from this man please call 101 who
will direct you to Action Fraud.
