Drop-in clinic for those living with emotional and mental distress

A drop-in clinic, part of the Somerset Mind Emotional Outreach Project, is open at The Angel Café in Langport every Tuesday morning at 10am until 1pm. Drop-in clinics provide information, signposting and emotional support for those living with mental distress. Anyone is welcome to come along for a chat or for information.
The project is financed by the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, now operating in South Somerset and Mendip.
The following will be available shortly: Life Skills Courses and Wellbeing activities for all to enjoy and learn. The project also welcomes anybody looking to do voluntary work and mentoring services for South Somerset Mind. Home visits and communities visits are also offered to individuals who cannot access the project.
Kirsty Cridge, South Somerset’s Emotional Outreach worker, who works alongside Reverend Jessica Pitman for better mental health in Langport, runs the drop-in clinic.
